The education minister Mr. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam Attorney at law stated that any other government  has not done this much of work for development facing various types of problems within a short time period of four years.

The minister reminded as entwisted with economic burdens leaving no chance to move forward former government dissolved before two years and explained after assuming duties of the post Priminister in 2015 the huge amount of work done by Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe facing media and various other problems, problems in executive, problems in national government.  

The government came in to power and while engaging in affairs such as establishment of independent commissions, media freedom, increasing salary of government service in 106% increasing pension in a huge percentage the power of state was lost for 51 days and having gained power again was able to do a work load within past six months that never before in history the minister stated.
