The Education Minister Mr. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam Attorney at law stated that although laying of foundation stones occurred in various places for various projects during the tenure of past government there were no financial allocations for those, was able to offer a combination of projects for school system of the country by doing the largest investment of the country on behalf of education in history up to now as because of assistance and guidance given by Priminister to give financial provisions for development projects along with the main project nearest school is the best school.
The minister expressed these views, joining the ceremony of declaring 500 school buildings for students on the same day among revolutionary education action taken signifying another important turning point under third stage of nearest school is the best school project.
