The minister had commended the achievements made by students at the International Young Scientists competitions held during 16-22 April 2017 in Stuttgart – Germany.
Rakidu Wickramarathna of Nalanda College had won the silver medal for his invention “Deposition of air pollutants on pollen grains and occurrence of respiration allergies among humans” and a certificate awarded to Jithendra Jut Sajith of SiththiVinayagar Hindu College for his invention “Modification of Microbiology fuel cells via the immobilization of the anaerobe Clostridium butyricum and Escherichia coli-XII blue”
Also the Minister had extended his sentiments on ‘Subagha scholarship scheme’ introduced to the school system to support young inventors around the country.
