The acquisition of 15-acre land to construct the proposed National College of Education for Technology was held yesterday (16). The land had been allocated from the NLDB farm in Narangalla.
The project intends to construct a state of the art facility to train teachers in the technology stream. This is a joint venture between the Sri Lankan and the Korean governments.
Rs.1911 million project will be carried out under the assistance of the Korea International Cooperation Agency KOICA. The project will commence in June 2017 and will be completed in 2019.
